Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of SonarTree, the app intelligence tool for developers who ship their own apps. By creating an account, you agree to them.
1. The service
SonarTree helps you understand how your app performs on the App Store: keyword rankings, competitor visibility, and, when you connect App Store Connect, your own downloads and revenue. We work continuously to keep this data accurate and current, using whatever combination of data sources and methods best serves that goal at any given time. What we sell you is keyword intelligence and app analytics, an outcome, not a specific mechanism for producing it, and the methods behind any single piece of data may change as Apple's platforms and our own systems evolve.
2. Accounts
You need an account to use SonarTree. You're responsible for keeping your login secure and for anything that happens under your account. You must be old enough to enter a binding contract in your country to sign up.
3. Subscriptions and billing
Paid plans are billed through Stripe on the schedule shown at checkout, monthly or annual. You can cancel anytime from your billing settings; canceling stops future billing, but you keep access through the end of your current billing period. We don't offer prorated refunds for partial periods, except where required by law.
4. Data refresh and accuracy
Plan tiers include different refresh frequencies and rank history depth, described on our pricing page. That's a commitment to how often we update your view, not a promise about the specific technical means we use to gather it. App Store data ultimately comes from Apple, a source we don't control; if Apple changes, restricts, or slows access to any of it, some data may lag, degrade in quality, or become temporarily unavailable while we adapt. We'll tell you when that's happening rather than show you stale numbers as if they were current.
5. Acceptable use
Don't use SonarTree to scrape, resell, or redistribute our data or interface. Don't attempt to circumvent rate limits, authentication, or access controls. Don't use the service to track any app or account you don't have the right to track. We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate this.
6. Your content
The apps, keywords, and preferences you add to your account are yours. We use them only to provide the service to you, see our Privacy Policy for the full picture.
7. Disclaimers
SonarTree is provided as is. We work hard to keep it accurate and available, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access or perfect data. App Store data changes constantly, and Apple's own systems are outside our control.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent allowed by law, SonarTree isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
9. Termination
You can close your account at any time, see our Privacy Policy for exactly what account deletion does. We can suspend or terminate your access for violating these terms.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product evolves. We'll update the date at the top when we do; continuing to use SonarTree after a change means you accept the update.
